about

I'm offering three pieces of music that celebrate the oral pleasures of the mouth as a perpetually active resonant cavity.

In Floss (2019), I played with filtering effects of the oral cavity via strings performed by Chris Fisher-Lochhead. 口机 (kouji) (2015) was an exercise in sampling and electronically manipulating my own percussive vocal/oral sounds. Roh. (2017) was composed in collaboration with Rohan Shirali, who was encouraged to use his mouth (and his other instruments) in ways he was not habituated/trained to use them.
